ZModeler 2 Question

Postby dummiesboy » Mon Mar 08, 2010 10:43 pm

Since this isn't MM2 related, I figured this would be the best spot for it.
If anyone has used ZModeler 2, can you tell me how to move certain verticies on a model? I have tried the 'Create/Polygon/Single" thing, like in ZM1, but it doesn't seem to work with ZM2. I am making a simple weapon mod for GTA: San Andreas (My first mod for the game), and want to improve the model slightly.

It's not necessary to model from ZM2, just make what you want from ZM1 then, export it as DFF (GTA VC). Then, from ZM2 choose to import it (GTA SA).

ZM2 is rather different. Maybe you should take a look at these tutorials.

Thanks for the Turorials Riva, I'll take a look at them. :)

Also, I did try to import to ZM1, but when I put it back into ZM2, it was 10x bigger, and rotated in a very odd angle. I suppose I will have to do the editing in ZM2...

Yea, everything is backwards in ZM2 (from a ZM1 perspective). So, FRONT in ZM1 is BACK in ZM2....etc.

Anyway, if you want to learn the basics of ZM2, you can download some tutorials from the zmodeler website.
