Anthony's Animator

Postby Tonywolfe121 » Wed Jan 13, 2010 11:12 pm

Hi guys!

Just wanted to post a little program of mine.

Anthony's Animator. It converts images in jpg, png, bmp, into a animated gif or apng. APNG you might ask. Are you spelling it wrong o__O ? Nope check it out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/APNG

Anyways back on topic here is a screen shot.

Here is a test gif I made.

If you are planning on changing your pictures and might need to make another animated image? Well the program can save your list! Just don't move the files.. :? if you do you can easily update the location using notepad.

The save format is like this

Code: Select all

<xml>--stranded xml stuff <root> --root node <image> --name / location </image> --end the image </root> --end the root
It supports multi select but do it backwards, eg you have 10 images.

Select them like 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, etc, etc

You mean it converts a series of images into a GIF?

Look's good.

Thanks for it, one of the easiest to use, hard to code. Great work.

Yep

Also forgot to say I have multi select enabled and working. But do it backwards, eg you have 10 images.

Select them like 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, etc, etc

I will work on a up treenode up and down feature in a bit.

Ok I have the node up / down feature working 100%

AVI support is 95% It supports compressed and uncompressed.

Sadly it don't save correctly. If anyone cares enough I got the output over here: https://www.mediafire.com/?kzqymo0ykut

Best viewed in quicktime so you can see each frame

Also thanks for all the good reviews :)

Good work with the programming Tony, great to implement the conversion to video files. There are some mispelling errors that can be fixed.

I've found this program good for the easy thing to make animated GIF of more images, most of the programs aren't free to make only this.

Wow, looks good! I can also help to point out the spelling errors, if you want. I'm good at grammar and all that. :P Don't think I'm selfish now.
