New Laptop.
Thats definitely a gaming lappy. No doubt! (:....Do you even know what you're talking about? My laptop is very good for gaming. It isn't cutting edge, but it also isn't anything to scoff at. I think an Nvidia GeForce GTS 250M, an Intel I7 clocked at 2.8 Ghz, and 8GB of ram should be able to run a game like MM2 with no issues at all. And it can, if it has an OS that MM2 is happy with....
Seems that I'll have to dual boot my PC too, or not. Because I hope to get me a new gaming tower soon.
BTW, great job solving the problem you were in.
Windows XP is a great OS for gaming IMO.

Thanks. I'm hoping that if anyone else has issues like me, that they see my post before they have to go through the frustration of trying in vein to get a game to run like it should. And even though dual booting isn't too easy or quick, it's a small price to pay to continue playing old games on a new PC.
