Is useless put all DirectX system info, just tell the essential computer's hardware. Your PC doesn't look fast to record games, it's only good for MM2 and other old game.
If you want more fluidity in your videos better upgrade the memory RAM size and try to use Fraps; it's a game video recording and game photo taking that works very good also in a not powered PC (like my old one). ;)
Search and download it, the free version lets record 30 seconds of movie.

I understand your nervousness, but your PC isn't so powerful. Try with Fraps, that doesn't use a lot of system resources.
However 446MB of RAM memory is a good size.

Try to add an extra hard drive to your pc. I got my pc last year, too, and my pc changed greatly. :)

Good hint Awalwang. :) A second hard disk is good for recording; just set it like the place to save the recorded file.
If the system hard disk is doing some writing/reading operation while the writing record video, this last will result with clicks. Another hard disk is essential for video editing and recording. ;)
It's RPM plates speed is also important, at least 7.200 RMP, to let it writing well the data. To improve this, more RAM memory size is better in any way.
