My converted cars from GTA IV to MCII (and other stuff)

Postby MysteryDriverX » Sun Aug 19, 2018 6:53 pm

Hi, I'm new here  :adios:
I've been lurking MM2X for a while but never noticed it had a forum.

I have converted 2 cars from GTA IV to MC 2 and never got to post them anywhere (well I posted the Uranus in another site once but the site is down now). So I thought I'd post them here in case anyone is interested:

The Banshee has a damageable front bumper, rear bumper and trunk. No damage on the hood because it appeared invisible when seen through the window. The Uranus has no damage. I include an icon for the main menu for both. The Uranus has some mini tutorial on how to instal the cars.

Other stuff:

*I found that you can remove those arrow icons that appear over the opponents by removing the file "hud_opponent_icon" in models.
*I edited the cruise mode for Los Angeles so that it has cop cars patrolling around and a helicopter in the Beverly Hills area:

*I edited the Los Angeles races so that they have more variety of opponents, as well as traffic and cops by default:

*I enabled extra traffic cars to Los Angeles like the limousine and the SUV:

*I edited some textures in Los Angeles to make them look like real life places. I made a 7/11, a 99c store, a Fatburger, the Chinese theatre, an Exxon gas station and US PS vans:

To instal these delete the originals with the same names and replace them with the new ones (I added a texture for the wrecked car license plate since it used the same as the 7/11 sign.

Hello and welcome here. :D
It's nice to me see again this great game. :) Very good work with your mods for it, and cool textures. :wink:

Good conversions to start out MysteryDriverX. And welcome to the forum. :)
Dubai = Supercarland

When it comes to normal street driving, any car is as good as good as any other. Only the racetrack can truly separate the cars' abilities.
