As Silent didn't accepted to start a MM1 Screenshots Contest, and the votes in my Poll were 50% in the 2 options. I'll start MM1 Screenshots Contest. The rules are same as Silent's.

Introduction:
Hello MM1 lovers! This is a SotM following every thing from the MM2 SotM! It is a tradition way long back in other MM2 sites which are shut down. This one is for MM1. The first MM. So, each month members of this site will paste their best screenshots, edited or unedited. Then here is voting, and the person who gets the most votes is the winner. At the last of the year; instead of participants screenshots are voted.

THE RULES:

• These rules are subject to change at anytime.
• Any new rules will be highlighted in red color.
• You must be a member of these forums. No bots allowed.
• You must submit your own work.
• You can only submit 1 screenshot every month/contest.
• The screenshot must be a still picture taken from MM1. No videos or animations allowed!
• The screenshot may include only publicly released addons. No private addons allowed!
• The screenshot can be edited or unedited. No software limits.
• The screenshot editions may include cut & pasted editions from photos not related to the game. (i.e. new sky picture collected from Google Images.... etc.) However, majority of the final picture should be from the game.
• The screenshot must be appropriate for the general Midtown Madness community. No porn, no blood, no freaky, no creepy, no bad words and no illegal stuff. Violation of this rule may lead to banishment from these forums.... or worse.
• No discussion on each others screenshots.
• The screenshot dimensions should not exceed 1600x1200 pixels.
• The screenshot file size should not exceed 1 MB.
• The screenshot file type (format) must be either .GIF, .JPEG or .PNG.
• When you decide to enter your screenshot, post it here in this topic after the "Stage 1: Enter Your Screenshots!" anouncement has been made for that month.
• Do not explicitly post the full-size image in the contest thread. Instead use the thumbnail (hotlinked to original) or provide the link to it.
• Use common image-hosting sites such as ImageShack, MediaFire, PhotoBucket,
  Imgur or Postimage.
• You are allowed to change your screenshot submission within three days of your original submission date.
• No submissions allowed after the last day of the month the contest is designated for.
• Voting start and finish will be communicated. Results will be posted after 3 days.
• Vote after "Stage 2: Vote Now!" announcement has been made.
• To vote, make a post stating your choice for that month.
• You cannot vote for yourself.
• Do not post anything obvious like +1 to -- while voting. To vote, post: I vote --.
• Any participant may be disqualified if in violation of above-mentioned rules or for reasons not said above.

If you are in-need for image editing software; Use MS Paint, Paint.NET, Gimp or Photoshop. They can be found quickly by a Google search.

I have no tutorials available. So, search for them yourself.

This is just as Silent's SotM. I wanted a SotM like this with the same rules, so I done it. Really I wanted Silent to start this. But he doesn't has MM1 so I started this with the same rules. I am waiting for Franch's permission.

Ok, you can give a try in making a contest with screenshots taken from MM1 game, but, it has to be unique, it hasn't to go on for the next months. I'm allowing you to try it, also because Silent1Unknown apparently did too. But please, make it an unique contest, also because I bet that you won't manage it for long time... Give a participating starting date, a finish date, allow the voting, announce the winner and then stop, closed.
It's sure that this thing can't go ahead for more than one time... There's still to see if the default contest about MM2 screenshots will go ahead and well, so, figure out how can be with this one. So far, the replies about this idea aren't on its favour... Now you've to go on hopes...

The rules post has got some changes, now you've only to decide a starting and an ending date for the submissions. Then, you'll post the voting starting and after some day you'll announce who'll be the winner, like Silent1Unknown does.
