Fraps 1.9D problem

Postby hastantyo » Sun Jan 03, 2010 1:49 am

Hi guys! I had downloaded the Fraps which Franch gave the link in one of those topics right here. I have done about 5 videos, and 1 of them still in progress. the problem is, my Fraps can't record the "sound", it just can record video. I'm a bit confuse about it, because there was no "sound" option in Fraps. Some one knows why thats happened? Or because my version of Fraps is free? I can't get full version of Fraps in search engine for free downloadable. I just got Fraps which can recorded video plus the "sound", but its just can record only 1 minute. Its says "free version just can record video 1 minute for trial".

Thanks a lot before.

Maybe your version doesn't record sound
Try This Registred version of fraps 2.9.9

PM me for a link to the current version. I dunno about the old versions, Fraps has a weird way of recoding sound, but it works. Or you can leave it muted and put in some music.

I had the same problem. You must enter the sound card panel and change from Stereo to other thing. I don't remember it exactly

From the settings of Fraps program is possible to enable or disable the sounds recording with the video, but I don't know how can be in that old version of Fraps. Better use a recent version of Fraps, registered of course.

You can record sounds only with a registered version.
How can I adjust the volume of the sound that is recorded?

You must configure the volume through the "Sounds and Audio Devices" item in the Control Panel. Use the following steps:

* Click on the Control Panel and select Sounds And Audio.
* Click on the Audio tab.
* Find the Sound Recording device and click Volume.
* Adjust the volume for the Input that Fraps is recording from. This is usually named "What U Hear", "Record Master", or "Stereo Mixer".
From the video tab :
