Why anti-viruses detect Lights Trailer V3 as threats but RV4 installer, City Toolkit and such things aren't detected as threats in false positives?

The same problem happens with ZModeler. It's probably a checksum collision (i.e. 2 files with the same CRC-32 or md5 checksum). It rarely happens, but it seems that this is what causes these problems. It could be something else, such as the fact that the Lights Trainer literally hacks MM2 as it is running, in order to work properly.

What reply would you expect for that question? Who knows!
Yeah, in rare occasions it can depend, and are obvious false positive. In most of the times, the antivirus asks for a check of the file, taking till some minutes for that, but then, it lets you use the file. This happens for very rare and not common .exe file, and those of mods installers and of programs related with MM2 are so.

It detects it as potentially harmful because it modifies the data of a running application. Don't worry, it's safe.

The other programs don't do such a thing.
