Hypercam = pathetic. I'd say get Fraps, although Camtasia has it's moments (like when recording small areas of the screen).

Lol, awalwang. Same with my computer, I need to get my older HDD working on this comp (it's 60gb, current one is 37).

Or get more memory. You can put an extra 1 GB on your computer, and TRUST ME, it makes a BIG difference. :D
P.S.: If one GB seems small, you're thinking RAM, not MEMORY.

What? That post confused me...memory is RAM. RAM = Memory. Unless by memory you are referring to a HDD.

RAM? You see like 63 Gigs free out of 93 Gigs. System Memory? One memory chip is either 500 Mb, 250 mB, or 1 Gb. More clear? If not, you can just PM me.

Technically 256mb, 512mb, or a little over 1gb. :P But that is called RAM (I know I'm not the only one that calls it that, a lot of people do).

Not with my Nvidia Geforce 6200 that I used to use. I used the oldest drivers and fraps worked fine, although I did end up updating them because of Country Side (made by Cesar/Riva).

if you will have videos with low memory use, use virtual dub to convert the videos.

I use that. But I only use it for compressing videos, nothing else.

Virtual Dub is very good also to split and edit videos. It's a very good converter.
