Oh...so the original pic I had used as a reference, the one I had posted with the in-game 1515, that is the new one ? Do you know or remember how the old one looked ? Its really difficult to dig info on the 90s India. Thanks for the point-out :wink:

I think you got confused :wink:, the paint job you made is the old one, the cream coloured with blue stripes. The new one is white instead of cream :D

Phew, Dodged another bullet :borracho:. But at least now its confirmed that I did the old one. Thanks again, coolguy102. :D Haven't an idea when e-cobra will respond.

Amazing liveries. :o Looks like a lot of hard work has been done here. I'll edit the UV map and try to fix distortion, probably in a week or so.

Thanks again. Take your time on the UV fixing. And what do i do about the older DTC paintjob - Should I do them, as a replacement to the newer one that I've completed ? And whaddabout the License plate overlay, should I add them ?

I just made a lo-poly pickup truck in blender for no reason, lol. Zmodeler is not allowing me to correctly map the shadow, no matter what I do, it always ends up stretched and broken. :roll:

It has 4 paintjobs, without damage textures or dash/ Tuning is based on my Jeep Cherokee, slightly modified.
The paintjobs: Red flames:

Corrupt texture: Texture saved with RLE compression, looks like some sort of art.

BTW these screenshots were taken before I reduced reflections, now it is not that reflective. Feel free to modify tuning or do anything with it. :wink:
Right now I'm fixing UV map on the bus.

e-cobra is back :D !! That's it, we need more RLE compression paintjobs. Straight up beats jeff koons' art. The truck looks somewhat large and sprints/stops unrealistically quick, which isn't much of a problem at all. That's all - rest is Greatly done !! :aprobar:

I wasn't here for a while, was busy sorting things out, but yesterday, I found a decent blueprint for the Mahindre XUV 500 and decided to make it. :)
I'm making the model, keeping GTA games in mind, with doors and hood as separate object. MM2 version will have 2 options: One with breakable doors and hood but no reflections and the other with no breakables but reflections.
Here's the progress so far:

It requires some more detail and normals calculation, but that isn't a huge task in Blender. :wink:
More progress and pictures soon.

Sounds great, have a good work, with Blender it'll be easier. :) Very good about the new blueprint found, but the old model you were making was turning out very well, though.

It's the 2011 model. :) Bit more progress since last time:

Need to add more detail to some surfaces and make the corners smooth/tune normals.
