Good to have figured this out, e-cobra. It's the first time that I face this conflict problem, couldn't think of that... then, most of the add-on vehicles with animations haven't damages textures for obvious reasons. So it's just one of the little conflicts that happen in this game, and that fit how the game is originally made (the animations aren't used in default vehicles). There's to choose: or have the damages textures, or have the animations.

About the bus, decisions have been taken about this conflict, and the final choice has been to include the damages textures, but making them as patch .ar file. So, you can choice to have or the visible damages, or the working animations.
It's now released, download it here.

I was making this low-poly (IMO) truck- The Dreadnought from Death Race:

Apparently the problems are bad normals and minor error in proportion, as there was no blueprint or photo available. This is made using MM2's default Freightliner Century's wheel positions as a guide.

This truck looks very good so far, keep the modeling up. The normals can well be fixed. :wink:

Sajmon, by default the bus hasn't the damages textures right to have the animations work (wipers in rainy weather and destination blinds). If you want them renouncing to the animations, there's the patch .ar file, where are put the damages textures, separately.

Nice Tata bus, but you should credit ad156 on the readme file as you take the wiper model from ad156's AVW (KMB Volvo B10TL Wright Explorer 12m). :wink:

That bus's ar file wasn't locked, so I thought using its wipers wouldn't be a big offence. But I entirely re-textured (UV mapped again) the wipers as they were 'white' from sides. :|

Your spikes are awesome :o Yes, it would be great to have them. I first thought to use alpha transparency for making those things, but they'll be nothing in front of the ones you've made. :D
