How to add picture to signature?

This may sound dumb but im new here and i dont know how to add picture to signature.

PLZ HELP!

To use an image for the signature is necessary the direct link to it (for example, it has to end with a image file extension like .jpg) put between the IMG tag, to make it show in the posts. The URL (address link to the image) hasn't to be too much long, or the entire signature code gets automatically cutted after the confirm; the profile page says that there's a 555 characters limit, but really it's lower.
Here's an example of the code to use done with the website logo.

Yeah, I think the character limit is around 250. Someone should change that, I recently want to change my signature and had to go through trial and error to finally get something to work. It had been so long since I tried to have a long signature on this site that I couldn't remember how long it really could be.

It looks like it might not be on the server anymore, or there is just a problem with the site.

It's best to upload whatever image you want to an image host, like photobucket, imageshack, imgbam, etc. Most site don't want you to use an image straight off of their site--it's called hotlinking--because it uses their bandwidth/hosting space.

photobucket problem: I click copy shortcut, the shortcut is something like "javascript".

imageshack problem: it shows the big X as a pic.

imagebam problem: I cant search anything.

EDIT: Are there any websites that work real good! Ive tryed every website that has to do with cars and I couldnt find anything.

P.S I have no IDEA how to register for Servimg.com

Use Dropbox. You need to install the software, copy the photo you want to the Dropbox/Public folder, right click the photo and select "Dropbox > Copy Public Link". Then open your signature form and type:

It's not the shortcut. Copy the direct link.

Thanks whoami! That helped a lot! but now you have to click on the shortcut to view the pic, how do you fix that?

Remove the "https://dropbox.com" and the space, then it will show properly.

EDIT: No wait, I can't view it. Something is wrong with it.
