Please don't put it on hold. I want to try it out in the next 30 days. At the least, you should release a beta (if it's stable enough) so we can try it out before you release the final version.

Try deleting your "Players" folder. If that doesn't work, try setting the game to hardware mode (many cars won't work in software mode), with texture quality set to "Very high (AGP)". Make sure you restart the game after changing the graphics settings, and before selecting the car.
