7 | Silent1Unknown (04 Dec 2015 03:33:50) | Hey guys, thanks for comments.
This is basically how I did it:
I copied the car from one screenshot and pasted onto another screenshot that had only the background. Second, I intensified the highlights & shadows of the car layer. Next, I changed layer blending option (to Screen or Overlay...) and decreased layer's opacity and fill parameters. Then I used the smudge tool to warp/bend some of the background features for the light-bending effect. Finally, I improved the lighting situation using Curves method.
However, there are some mistakes. Technically, there should be a shadow...since the sunlight does not go through the "apparently invisible" car...but the thought of making the shadow gave me a stomachache.... :P |

5 | Doof4294967296 (03 Dec 2015 15:15:03) | @PaulXD165 It's obviously edited. Wheels don't have reflection buddy. It's probably like textures made transparent like a ghost including the shadow which has a 100% alpha, but no! You can barely see something different with the road lanes.
Well don't get offended Silent1Unknown. You did very well in this screenshot. It made me think how was this even made. Perfect editing skills 10/10! |
4 | PaulXD165 (03 Dec 2015 14:45:10) | Whoa great job! I thought you just edit the car's texture, make them all transparent. Really, I thought that was the car's reflection I'm seeing. So that should be renamed as Aston Martin Van(qu)ish *Vanish. |
3 | BIGzee (03 Dec 2015 12:26:54) | @KingAndy: Took me some time too !!
@Silent1Unknown: It's Very Pro! The shader-scheme matches Skyfall !! And it seems you've used some actual 'photoshoot' techniques like adding a totally transparent replacement shadow for the car, such that it doesn't interfere with the photoshopping session, and you were able to make a perfect blend of those two layers.. rayt ? Either that or you're Super-Talented ;] |
2 | KingAndy (02 Dec 2015 10:44:17) | I feel dumb for taking over a day to realize what was wrong with this screenshot. That's a really original idea, great work with it! |
1 | BUGATTIMAN253MPH (02 Dec 2015 01:42:04) | Nice editing. |
