This is one of the greatest mods of all time. Sure, Times Square could use improvement, and yeah, there are the immovable objects. But the traffic cars? GENIUS!!!
The bumpers fall off the Meter Maid. The Garbage truck's garbage falls off when you smash into it.
the mirrors fall off the cars. I thought the 1980's NYPD police car (definitely a 1980 Plymouth) was really cool.
It's a good thing that this works well, and this is amazing considering other tracks that try to resemble real-life cities are a mere shadow compared to this "steamin' metropolis".
Only if Richard P. was still making all of these goodies. |

If you have low computers you have to do this:
-Download MM2Lite (can find it on this site)
-Set the graphic at 800x600 + "Hardware Only"
-Uncheck show pedestrians
-Before to chose the car put trafic on half, cops and pedestrians at "0"
-Enjoy :) |

Just like one of the in-game cities! Very highly decorated, well worth being in the "top files"! |

it was hard to figure out how to play it well.
but the Admin info is correct. just do what it says.
but still i have a problem...i cant play it on my screen resolution (1860x1050).

The city is very nice and cool. It has got all what a really cool city needs: Traffic, Buildings, own Cars, own breakable objects with own sounds, ...
But when you download it, you can't drive on SF anymore. 7 points. |

I respect the work put into this city but, it just doesn't have the exitement of the default cities, and the cars just seem too dull, literally dull. download not recommended. |

One problem, the "virtiul killer" can jump over the wall to the water and when you drive on the water.

I spent 1/2 downloading this and the zip file was corrupt so I then spent another 1/2 hour downloading it again becuase everyone said it was good. And I got it downloaded and I put it into my mm2 directory and ran the program and it wouldn't work. I then extracted all of the file and edited them and made the file actually work and then I replaced the textures with ones that I had made using the enviroment mod and it is a very good city now so my basic comment is. If you have the time and the you can make it a very good city but even if you don't have the time it is a good drive and you can alway download it whilst your haveing dinner. Well Done!! |
