Unreaded posts removement ...

I have had this issue already a few times ...

When I didn't log in here for a certain time, the forum tells me that it removed unreaded posts ... (when there are over 500 unreaded posts - it said 539 unreaded posts removed - but not from last 7 days)

Well, in my case it is kinda annoying because I like to read like all "unread posts / unread topics" in the english section ...
So I think I will miss some stuff here now, because I probably waited too long to log in again to this hqtm forum - and I don't have time to visit here all day/hour etc (busy school stuff)

Is there any solution to fix / remove this limit for me ? (probably not

)
Off course you team added this future with a purpose, I don't doubt on that

It happed to me, i last check here at 9:00GMT yesterday, in 24 hours i had the same problem.

I try to keep my unread post count on o more thn 200. It's hard but possible.

One of the forum features and I don't see any reason to save information about unread posts for people who don't login for 2 years.

but database space for someone whos gone 2 hours, 2 days or 2 years is the same, so you don't really need to worry about it

No, it's not. Database for people who login last time 2 years ago contains information about new post since that time, so it's much bigger for user who login last time 2 weeks ago. This is why the forum has that kind of feature.

You may read posts or mar all as read.
You can use search to find posts writen through last choosed time.

It appear's not to have changed for me.

It changed for you too.

Last time it was:
- 500 posts
- remove posts after 7 days
- except post writen through last 7 days

Now it is:
- 1000 posts
- remove posts after 14 days
- except post writen through last 7 days

I suggest you to visit our forum at least one per two weeks
