Please Help!

Hey i play MM2 mostly at school and i wnna race against my friend, so i go to mulitplayer (skwl has internet) then what should i choose? And how does he join me etc;?

When you get into the multiplayer screen click tcp/ip and then click host and it will come up with a box, click done and you will go to the screen to choose settings for the game and the car you want to use.

When your mate gets into the multiplayer screen, click tcp/ip then click join and it will come up with a box saying enter ip address, ignore that and click done, it will then say "looking for games" and hopefull your name will pop up and say what type of race it is, he then clicks on that and he will be in the game where he can choose his car.

All you have to do then is click go drive and you will be racing.

Me and my bro do this and it works.

Your XP firewall might also be blocking MM2... Once you've entered the IP address and hit Search, press Alt and Tab on your keyboard at the same time.

There might be a window talking about how MM2 is trying to access the internet or something. Just hit unblock if it's there.

Then just bring MM2 back to the main screen by pressing "Midtown Madness 2" on the taskbar.

just so you know embarq's antivirus will not let you play mm2 multiplayer

first you must creat a count at www.igzones.com
than you must download IGZ (International Gaming Zones )
config ur firewall , than enter IGZ see who is online and host a room than PLAY !

yea i posted recently about this topic and i agree the best way to play mm2 online is international gaming zones (IGZ).
