Is it possible to use a Xbox controller with MM2? Will the analogue buttons work?

I don't think if it'll work, get a joystick. (But try with your XBox controller.

It worked with the PS3 one so should work with this one too

I got it to work with a wired 360 controller, but it is impossible to assign the triggers to accelerate and reverse, it's also impossible to assign anything to the d-pad. everything else is perfectly fine though.

I assume an Xbox One would on Windows 10 since it's fully compatible by default (I might attempt to when I eventually buy one as I've planned to for ages), but as BUGATTIMAN pointed out, I don't think the game would ever allow to use the analog triggers to gradually accelerate and brake since it wasn't designed to do so, unfortunately.

@Seahawk: time to bring the old Atari controller from the attic, uh? C'mon, who really uses a joystick nowadays
