Because it's my childhood, simple.

I like some tracks that are REALLY ugly, just because they were in my childhood.
Just a cube map is enough to have fun.

But your message doesn't tell what game you mean. I know that you voted for MM in poll but it's better to write complete sentences :P

Well I can't vote because I've spent many hours of my childhood with both game series

It's hard say which is better in the complex, because both the games series are very good and have a different setting of gameplay and races, but for me, Midtown Madness and Midtown Madness 2 win because of many reasons and because they're the games that I've played mostly. Then, Midtown Madness 2 is still the only game that I've modded and that I know most stuff about.
The only Midnight Club game that I've played is the second one, the only available for PC, which is a very good game. Anyway, the free roaming concept in the Midtown Madness series was introduced before and it's better enjoyable. Midtown Madness 3 is the only game of the series that got less feeling than the previous 2. I don't know about Midnight Club series, but probably it's the same thing with those released after Midnight Club 2.

To specifics : Midnight Club 1 > Midtown Madness 2. Shame MS messed up MM2's potential :/

I said midnight club, And I really like both of them. But midnight club has fun police chases, street racing, and deep customization, things that mm2 dosent have.

Midtown Madness, mainly because I grew up with this game. :) I started playing it when I had the old Windows 98 computer, then transferred it to Windows XP after I had bought that computer with a NVIDIA graphics card back in 2003 (can't remember what I used on that computer though), and finally transferred it to Windows Vista when I purchased it with the AMD Athlon XP 64 bit dual-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE back in 2008, and sadly, I still have it (I don't have the money to upgrade to a Windows 7 or later OS system).

I've heard that Midnight Club is a fun game to play, but I don't have a PS1 to know more enough of that game though. ;)

I was talking about the first one. Of course MC2 is for the PC aswell.

PCSX2 is just PS2 emulator...

Anyway.

My choice is Midnight Club (OK, mainly because of MCSR) due to the more advanced game engine used, however the gameplay kinda sucked and the tuned fantasy cars are disgusting in my opinion.

MM2, because I love the free roam, and in MC2 there was no cops in the free roam! But, the races were unique as in Tokyo I saw a fire engine and some police cars driving somewhere at the star of the race, and if you follow them, you can see they were putting out a fire later in the race with another cop car arriving. And in LA you get stopped by a road block with armed officers, in maybe the third race? Hard to say, but MM2 wins.:P
