Hello guys! You're all probably wondering why I haven't been online as much as I used to. I'm just experimenting with MM2 by myself. Only recently I came up with the idea of Supercar Madness; a mod that brings MM2 further into the 21st century.

The cars:
I will convert all of them from CSR Racing and CSR Classics solely to replace the default cars, which means, unfortunately there won't be any trucks in the mod.

The game will also be enhanced with new sounds taken from NFS and Test Drive Unlimited (as well as better win and lose songs.

)

This is the list of the cars I'm replacing so far:

Awesome, this is awesome. Great job with the cars and car choices. I'm wondering, are you going to try replacing traffic cars too?

It depends, there comes a problem where all the cars in CSR Racing are usually sports cars and it will look strange having San Francisco and London full of Paganis and Lambos.

In the .aimap config you can put the chance of when to spawn a traffic car.

Example:

The bus is the rarest to find and the Sedan is the more common, do not mess with the last value because IDK what does.
So, the bus has "0.02" which is a very small number compared to the Sedan that has "1".

I will convert this to percentage:
I will take all the cars' numbers and merge, now i have this big number: "6.18"
Then...
6.18..........100%
0.02..........X%
1.00..........X%

Later...
6.18..........100%
0.02..........0.3%
1.00..........16.2%

So there is a 0.3% to spawn a bus and a 16.2% to spawn a sedan.
Likely there will be, from 333 cars, 1 is a bus, and from 6 cars, 1 is a sedan.

Good idea, despite it's going to be only a big carpack.

It's always possible hide the default game vehicles from the vehicle selection menu by using empty .info files.

I'm wondering, are you going to try replacing traffic cars too?

No chances with these modes, because they have a bit too much polygons to be used for a traffic mod. Their number is always of at least about 10000 polygons per car, only the BODY_H object.

Don't we have other traffic mods on this site already?
Anyway, I converted the Aston Martin V12 Vantage, it replaces the DB7, it is the prize after completing the London Crash Course and becoming a 00 agent.

I've started the BMW M3, it will replace the VW Beetle RSi.

Sadly I can't show pics cos my PC crashes when I try to use Photobucket.

What, is it illegal to convert their cars?

I think if you give them credit for the model and if you're not making money off them you should be fine. Anyway nice Aston.

. Great job with the cars made (quite exciting you mentioned a Boss 302). The concept is awesome in itself, but what about your other replacement pack ? That was good too.

Its okay about no trucks. Bullitt is back

!!! The BMW M3 feels perfect for Eldorado's replacing, and also since the Dune is the only dedicated offroader, how about a buh-dass SUV - Range Rover Evoque mebe ? And for the RSi, you could make one of your Shift 2 race cars too, probably a one-off race car with liveries... lotsa them.

Hope the cop is a 'stang GT '15

. Love the idea of turning the Cab school into an Mi6 vehicular training session. Wonder what the Stunt school will be - Undercover or a Vengeance scheme of a B-Movie.. or even a vehicular martial arts submissive (everything Chinese, like NFS No Limits did much recently).

I want to replace the LTV with an American car of some sort, I was thinking of the 60's Ford GT40, but I'm wondering from you guys what you think.
