3D Scanning

Hey, does anyone have any experience scanning objects to obtain a 3d model for MM2? I have been playing around with my Kinect, scanning people when I thought about cars for MM2 or maybe even scanning yourself to have as the driver in the car. The models come out well with a well-light room.
