Good news! I got the real Top Speed of the Panoz GTR-1!

It's 291 (Road Material), i will keep the car more hours to see if it can go to 292!

Here's the proof.

Note: The old was in Hummersrock map, which uses the default material, and also isn't enough long, so i used the Speed Track by CMR_Driver_MFD.

I thought drag lowered the top speed.
Panoz GTR-1 has zero drag in it's vehcarsim file.
2. I only reached 289 mph with Panoz GTR-1 in Car speed track but in speed track i can't reach 289 due that the car starts crashing to the ground, why this happens more in speed track than in car speed track?
Probably of the position i am or the road material is different.
Change the value of SuspensionExtent and SuspensionLimit values to 0.02 for both front and rear suspensions, that fixes the problem of GTR-1.

Panoz GTR-1 has zero drag in it's vehcarsim file.
Now I might not understand much about physics, but wouldn't zero drag give it infinite speed? :P

In physics, the answer of this question is "Yes".
But in MM2 the maximum velocity is somewhat limited to 1118mph.

There are two kinds of "Drag", the actual "Drag" value and the "Down" value.

Both are almost the same thing but the "Down" value is vertical.

If the "drag" value is 0, it does nothing to the car, if the value is positive (Ex: 10), the car slows down, and if the value is negative (Ex: -9999) you are faster when you go fast, if you put this value in "Down" then it will fly far away if you go fast enough.

I see. But what I was meaning by it being zero is that the GTR-1 does not reach 1118 mph, but only almost 300 mph. So that's why I was kinda confused :P

The Laws of Relativity says: Nothing can go more than the speed of light. So, infinite speed isn't possible at all.

Well gee, sorry, lemme rephrase that.
Now I might not understand much about physics, but wouldn't zero drag give infinite acceleration until it reaches the terminal speed of light, considering an ideal space without any obstacles at which the car could collide with, and enough horsepower to get there in this century?
