New project this time I'm working on a 2000 Saleen S281 from Forza Motorsport 3.

It is basicly an imitation of the Default Ford Mustang, having the same dash, selection sound and the first four colours imitate the default Mustang colours. Tuning files are copied from the default Mustang and modified to make this car more powerful and reach speeds of 150mph in game, it is also a little bit lighter than the default Mustang. Engine sounds and cardata came from deanna_troi's Dodge Challenger. Still one or two bugs to take care of, other than that what do you guys think?

I really like Mustang Cobra, this one looks even cooler! For the picture you posted at the screenshots section it looks really good, I'm looking foward to see more progress. :)

Good car picking, and the choices done about its features sound good. Looks ok in-game.

Currently I'm using the default light textures for the light effects.

How do I change steeringwheel rotation without using MM2 Ultamite tweaker? I prefer not using MM2UT because I find there is a limitation in tuning compared to editing the tuning yourself.

Open the [name of your car]_dash.asnode file in the tune folder with NotePad.

Look for the line "WheelFact" and play with that value: I guess higher the number higher the amount of rotation. I just don't recommend to put a value smaller than 0.

Edit: are you talking about the dashboard view? If yes, follow the process I said in the beggining of the post. But if you're talking about the wheels itself, follow this other process:

Go to Tune>Vehicle>[name of your car].vehcarsim and open that file with NotePad. Look for the line "SteeringLimit" on WheelFront section, and change the value. Higher the value, higher the amount of rotation the wheels rotate. Keep in mind to stay arround 0.3 to 0.6, or the wheels will rotate unrealisticly too much or will not rotate enough.

Thanks KingAndy
I've done the in game description and the showcase, based on the default look.

description:

The Saleen has a generous deal
of horsepower and a frightening
top speed, but its low durability
requires an experienced driver
at the wheel

The description sounds good. I wait for the car download submitting, shouldn't have been left a lot to do now.

Done! I'll upload it soon, the tune is quite realistic but not completely like the real one. It has really low durability so I'd advise not to drive on hilly roads fast and I made the smoke huge so it looks like an explosion if you have fire and smoke mod. The car looks epic when using Riva's reflection mod.

Edit: Uploaded it!

Generally, it's a fast car but the RWD can make it hard to accelerate, It hits curbs and can compete with Aston Martins and Panoz Roadsters, provided that you don't get pushed around by the other heavier cars

Edit: I just uploaded now
