Do I use GIMP or Paint.net?

What are the steps to correctly setting the blueprints into ZModeler in this way?

Please explain, cause I keep doing it wrong.

I use Paint.NET as it is less complex and yet efficient to meet all the needs a MM2 project needs. Once I posted how to get blueprints correctly in Zmodeler, here.

Thank you :) I knew that was somewhere, but I didn't know where.

260x260 work?

I'd post a picture, but I haven't gotten access to the hosting site yet. Hopefully I'll remember to ask next time I see Dad today.

:
Yes, any size for blueprints will work but isn't 260x260 way too small?

You can use https://www.imgur.com to upload a picture, no registration is required for it.

First take the blueprints, go to www.theblueprints.com for that OR take a piture using a camera. Then in ZM click on the right side in the window select :- Background>Image>Load image. Click on Add..... button which is in the new window. Select the blueprint which you want and you're done it! CAUTION! THE PICTURE YOU WILL ADD AS BLUEPRINT IN ZM MUST BE IN .bmp format!

What? Blueprints and pictures are different, blueprints are non-perspective images whereas if you take a picture, perspective comes in and causes ratio problem.
Images can be .tga as well.

Better to keep blueprint dimensions in powers of 2...like 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024...etc. Other sizes can give problems later on.

ZModeler accepts TGA, BMP and even PNG (although if you use PNG, you have to load blueprints everytime you start ZModeler).

Help? I singled off each face of the blueprint and resixed them, using proportionate ratios, then sized all the canvas to 512x512. Zmodeler finally stopped distorting the image, but my front\back images are larger than my side image, which resulted in a truck side with a lion's mane around it. 8O
What did I do wrong?

Single off each side of the vehicle and adjust the canvas size to make them equal. Re-sizing may result in problems.

Is this yes? As in my P.C. only .bmp works.
