MM2 Has a replay feature, it is just hidden, I have asked Clinton Keith on documentation about this and will continue when he replies.

Really amazing. Great work Aaro with finally let it to work. Once again you show to be made for game discoveries and hacking things.

The MM2 reply function was already discovered in past (Dummiesboy talked about it here for the first time), it's already present, incompleted and unused in the game files, with obviously also the JPGs for the window and the buttons (visible in the image in the first post). The problem was how make display the replay function button in the menu and how make it work showing the replay window, and now looks that's enough replace the original function of the driver stats button with the replay one. But, when and how can you view the reply of a suddenly done gameplay? There's also new Replay voice in the menu that you show pressing the Esc key? Without the possibility to save, at least for now, be able to display the replays window in the game menu becomes useless, the list is always empty.

Yes, i am afraid, you have to get 2 valid RPL files, select one, and load it, it will load your last selected track and car with default densities, then just drive around. You click REWIND then PLAY to watch your driving, SAVE is currently disabled

You only need 1 replay file. You won't see it in the menu because it works like MM1's track selection menu. Just click load and it will work.

BTW, this feature will be in RV5.

NOTE : Mm2 will read this as a valid RPL file

name it test.rpl and put in this data without quotes "REPLAY18"
Only will work in the RV5 build of the game though

New Discovery : Racing then going to your replay file you just loaded and clicking edit, entering nothing into the "save as" box, and clicking DONE, changes the RPL file and seals it for editing. Also adds the name of the race on it.
