so you want to get something like this right ? Image

well the easiest way is using cloud brushes for photoshop , you can get them in many places , here are some that i found

download them here

everything else is imagination and skills , play with the colors , opaque and things like that ;)

OLOL you don't know how to install brushes ahahha xD remove the "best photoshop-er" from your signature :P

open photoshop and the image , click the brush tool , open the brush browser (the one you select the brushes) in the right upper corner should be a little arrow , click it and it will open a sub menu , click load brushes and find the file ;)

P.S. told you , you still have a lot to learn :P

If you want my EASY way then here it is:
make a new layer then use the gradient tool to make the smoke then use dodge tool.(check the picture Drifting in the screen shots)

EDIT:Triple_x,can you make a tutorial for this?
tried this brush but it makes clouds!not smoke.

You should ask about photoshop tutorials at photoshop forums, more likely to get a response there.

Also try searching "photoshop smoke tutorial" on google.
