What just happened?

A few minutes ago I had a problem with MM2x. it said "Website Maitenence" (but it was it Italian). Why did that happen?
Was really needed ask this? Simply the server wasn't anymore online for some minutes because of the website hoster, that's Italian. This happened other times for not clear reasons, but maybe this time happened because of the too much download requests of the last put file.
The important thing is that nothing bad happened...
