WAKE UP CALL!!!

First day driving alone today and I almost hit someone! I was in the left turn lane for a parking lot, this idiot in a Honda turned his blinker on well before 150ft for the main light he was heading to, and I assumed he was turning into the apartment complex. Well, he slowed down quite a bit, like jerking a bit, and so I figured he was either turning right or u-turning. WRONG. We almost hit each other, and if it wasn't for my good brakes, something bad would have happened. That right there was my wake up call, and from now on, I will be a much safer driver. What scared me the most, was there was a COP at the light, and I was waiting for him to turn around with sirens blaring to give me a ticket for reckless driving. Never happened, but I'm still shaken.

My car is too precious to die! My $452 a year insurance is too precious to lose! But here's the kicker - "Little Lion Man - Mumford and Sons" had JUST finished playing, and some of the lyrics go:

And it was your life on the line
I really f****d it up this time
Didn't I my dear

Had I crashed, my driving career would have been over just like that. But thank god it didn't happen. *prays it won't happen again*

On another note, $20 of gas gets me roughly 6.5 - 6.8 gallons of gas...LAME! It's almost filled up completely, however. I'm assuming it's a 10 or 11 gallon tank..not sure...

Drive safely now. :P I didn't understand it, but get your car checked before something bad happens.

Nah, that's just silly.

But yeah, it's a good a idea to drive safely.

After having a couple times where I easily could have gotten tickets for speeding, I no longer speed. :P

I posted this across multiple forums, sorry about the language. I didn't see any swearing rules in the forum rules, so I didn't bother editing it out.

I've added that rule today, like other added in the meanwhile, but anyway, isn't said that if it isn't written anywhere in this forum means that you have to talk in that way... That's a common rule of forums, and it's also something to don't do morally. Indeed, there are kids here, and then you couldn't get a good reputation with a such behavior. Off-topic closed.

Remember kids NEVER EVER use mm2 maners in real life...
