I need to create 8 skins for a project of mine, and I'd like your thoughts. Play nice, keep your critisisms constructive, but be brutal.

Very nice car, so it has some 3D interiors. This paintjob about MM2X is very cool, thanks to have made it. Anyway, if you want to make a real paintjob about this website, you have to make it with its colors and style.
I don't have an idea about other paintjobs, so I want to keep the ones that you showed months ago.

Yeah, I started off with the colours, but it didn't work so well, but I'm still playing around.

The group N rally car, Evo 8 - has 8 paintjobs, the car with the spoiler.

This one has had the spoiler and roof vents chopped, different rims, and handles differently, but it has no paintjobs.

2 almost different cars.

Fixed the colours, replaced blues with greens, and white with black.

Looks nice too, but it looks more yellow than green; make it also more dark. The website green is really more dark, like the one of the buttons.

I've tested your Mitsubishi lancer Evo 8 and it's a well converted car. The custom reflections and skidmarks are nice, but maybe too flashy. The sounds aren't adapt to it, and the tuning needs more work about the handling, to be more like a rally car. The paintjobs are very nice. The rear lights are good, but you can well "crop" around the red lights on texture with a black alpha channel, so only the red part will be visible, not making the whole rear lights more bright.

Very nice idea about that MM2X paintjob, make the green colour darker, as Franch suggested.
The sounds aren't adapt to it, and the tuning needs more work about the handling, to be more like a rally car.
The sounds can't be adapt to it, because it doesn't have sounds, so it uses the sounds from the Panoz GTR-1. I tried also to make an addon for the handling and sounds, but it didn't work. :(

For the Evo, or for one of your own projects?

I've finished the handling on both the cars, got some evo6 sounds, fixed the bound on the evo8D (it was lower than the body), added 1 more paintjob, and I'm going to make 2 more when I have some time - I originally planned for 8, polish it up and call it a wrap, as soon as possible, I just don't have the time these days.

I don't think the skid marks & reflection modifications were supposed to be in there, it's part of something else I was working on. But at the moment, they're both looking good.

Very nice skin, mate! :D I tried to make an addon for both of your Evo's 8, they didn't work.

P.S.: I PMed you. Please check.

Matt, I know that when a car don't have the sounds files it uses the ones of the in-game Panoz GTR-1, and those counds aren't adapt for almost any car, because they're only for that kind of race car.
Very nice work on the second car paintjob and on its improvements about sounds and tuning.

The test version of the other Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 is available here.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. :)

I really seem to be struggling with this forum system, makes me feel old. :(

Skin #3 is complete. I've touched up the tuning on both the vehicles & darkened the MM2X skin, and the Evo double pack becomes a triple pack, with the addition of the Evo 7, which I had laying around.

Very nice paintjob. But better to release these cars not as a carpack, better make them separately, to prevent game crashings.

My thoughts exactly, well I haven't had any crashes yet, but I thought it'd be more friendly for dial-up users. There's no point in them downloading 43+mb if they only want a single car from the pack.

where is the Mitsubishi-logo at the back on the last paintjob? :o
