add some buildings to it also !! including that sf tall tower (i dunno it name, something like'pyramid'??? )
LOL, you mean the Transamerica Pyramid to this nice city? That would be totally inappropriate. :P

Nice work, HummersRock. Keep up this nice city. :D

Some new textures:

I wonder what this is:

So yeah, I made some new textures, but I'm not going to be using that road texture. I will probably be using the grass texture though. The final track certainly won't be all green like that. I just haven't made all the needed textures. All of the track is modeled and I just need to make some more textures, and then add in all of the objects.

Thanks guys. I actually forgot to make a little bit of it (extra ground) and I'm having success with it.

I figured I should post another picture to let people know that I am still working on the track.

Image

I am trying another grass texture. Not sure which one is better. The gravel texture obviously needs some work because the rocks are much too big. The other rock texture looks a lot worse than I thought it would. I will have to replace it. And the house is only half done (needs a door, window, roof texture).

I may post another picture soon once I get the shadows finished and some textures fixed.

Cute map HummersRock, nice work. I suggest to make the grass and gravel textures more small to make a more little tiling, and the rock texture looks too weird, change it.

Nice progress! But the textures are too big. Next time, when you do mapping, scale the faces to be very big, so the textures become more tiled and smaller.

Huhwut? MM2City Toolkit does the tiling, and scaling faces won't change anything. I will remake the gravel texture and get the rocks to a much more realistic size. If you think the grass really needs it then I will fix it too. I certainly am going to change the odd rock texture. ;)

No, he can't map the texture on the object because that's all made as PSDL terrain (GROUND_ named parts); in a PSDL terrain isn't possible to map the assigned texture as you want, because the game automatically arranges it for each part. He must edit the texture, as I've said.

Any feedback on the shadows (or anything else) is appreciated. Are they too dark?

A bit too dark on the shadows.

Great job mate ! Shadows are perfect considering that you've edited the sun intensity :)
