Nice textures, but I would make the tunnel ones a bit darker, without touch the light part.
About the pixlerized textures, anyone knows why even 1024x1024 textures (the original HD textures I made) look so pixlerized?
I've no clear idea, but usually when it's increased the texture sizes plus its quality, like if it's vector, the object where it's applied and mapped will look more detailed. Instead, if the quality isn't increased, it rests the same, like nothing was changed.
However, the game engine render counts too. Also, make sure to don't have the alpha channel when it's not needed, it decreases the colors look quality. Save the textures in 24 bit to don't have the alpha channel (32 bit means have it).

Hey guys, new change of plans: intead of just adding better quality textures to the underground tunnels, this mod with replace a lot (but not all) of the textures of the cities. I will give more attention firstly to the brackable objects (that are normally forgot in the most texture patches) and to London textures. Then mayble I'll do a little patch to SF, but there are already so many texture patches for it so I'll not give so much attention to that city.

Small preview how it is going:

HD phone booth yeah!

BTW I already found the problem about the textures look pixlerized. Franch88 is right. :)

Nope, they are 256x256. I asked Dummiesboy and on the default cities textures max size is 256x256, bigger textures will look exacly the same as this max size.

Great news, the new underground train is working nicely!

Image

It's in beta stage, because the 3d model has arround 19k polygons and I think it may lag in older computers. Also, I would like to include some people inside de train (that has 3d interiors).

After this sucessfull 3d object replacement, I'll create more new objects for this game, as like the also talked here parked cars or the streetlights (if I made new ones, I'll keep the advertising billboard with the same original texture, to allow people to install advertising mods on it)

Thanks a lot to Aaron that explained me how to replace objects without the game gives a error.
