Various track problems

Postby Wouter1998 » Sun Nov 03, 2013 10:58 pm

I found out how to use ZModeler thanks to a friend that makes maps too, and i've decided to make a map.

Now here's my problem:

It really plays and looks bad ingame. Does anyone know how i can fix this?

Reconnect the objects to be one object. Then weld the vertices there.

I've fixed it already by moving the vertice one bit down on the grid. It works now.

New problem:

This here is going to be a tunnel. Now the problem: the texture displays like the red lines, but i want it to be displayed like the blue ones. How do i fix this?

You want to make the texture vertical? Open the texture in your image editing program and rotate it by 90

No, i want it to rotate with the tunnel's slope. I have no idea what i need to do, not only that, but the texture gets screwed up ingame.

So i'm trying to insert props to my map in MM2CT. Problem here is that the props' height is always too low.

What i do:

- Put PKG files in geometry map.
- Go in MM2CT.
- Add object (what's the difference between single and directed btw?).
- Add position.
- Optionally add more positions.
- Save props.
- Ingame, the prop isn't at the right place, it's too low.

What should i do?

move it up, use the axis as position not the actuall object height
