About the 3d damages, you are talking about the damage textures or making damages like in gta where the car parts get crashed when you hit the car?

Iam talking about 3D damages like in NFS Most Wanted game with the cop cars when you hit them. I wanna make the same thing in mm2, but there is something in "basename.vehcardamage" changes the size of the damage textures' appearing when i hit something! What is it?

But remember, 3D damages don't work with reflections.

I've experimented with various texture size combinations but 64x32 is the only one that worked. Other sizes look like clouds, semi-transparent when hit by something.

There is an option in "basename.vehcardamage" which can setting the size of the damages texture shows while damaging. What is the name of it in this file?

The value to change is called TextelDamageRadius. The larger the number, the larger the area of the damage texture will apply in game.

I assume you know the method of how to make 3D damages work in MM2?

Ahh, I think I get it now. You need to UV map the car.

Is this similar to your problem?

Image

If so, then you need to UV map it. Otherwise, please show a picture that describes your problem better. It makes no sense why you need to modify TextelDamageRadius (which distributes the amount of damage per hit, not the size of the texture).

He means how to make damage textures that make the car look as if it is crumpled after hitting something, but is there any way to make such textures larger than 62x32 pixels.
