I've noticed that this game seems to look better without refelections, anyone else think this? Maybe we're trying too hard. The first two images have reflections turned on, and the rest have no reflections. What do you think?

Dunno know, reflections give more realism to teh car models. I prefer seeing screenshots with reflections

Remember that MM2 isn`t so good on graphics, even when stuff comes to reflections

Here is a side-by-side comparison.
I believe that no reflections makes the vehicle colours appear more vivid whereas with reflections it seems slightly faded - maybe I just need a better reflection map. :P

You posted a pic of car with rally livery, that's why reflections may look bad on it. But highpoly cars using matte materials should have reflections

You have a good point, in the respect that it depends on the car, because it doesn't look half-bad on this Subaru.

Maybe with that car and most of the cars with a paintjob, a livery, the look without the reflections is better. Instead can't be so with plain colors.
I prefer them with the reflections where needed (body and windows especially), and using a reflection mod like the SM2 and Riva's ones for a much better look. The reflections plus the model dark shading give more nuances to the colors.

Can somone recommend a good, well-made road-going vehicle (without any fancy paintjobs)? - So I can see how reflections look.

Is that with reflections or not? Because I love that reflection if it was.
