I know also the thekingoftown's and the HummersRock's desktop screenshots; they are at the MM2C forum.

This is the desktop of my new computer with Windows Vista.

I don't care about its background image because it's made for games.

Mine used to be like that too. Nothing fancy, just something plain to at least fill up the background.

Well, let me say a few words. With XP I am currently using a Vista theme, a Sidebar (Thoosje, not the original Vista one...lost that one), also a icon dock (basically a Mac copy-cat), and True Transparency (for the nice Aero look). These things are only using up 95MB of RAM. Without the dock (I don't think Vista actually has it) it would be 85MB of RAM. Better than Vista, is it not?

Swap the dock for ViOrb and/or Vista Start Menu (mine doesn't look enough like Vista's) and you got Vista's look on XP at probably 95MB of RAM. Nice, is it not?

Anyways, here is a screenshot of mine:

Oh and go to Control Panel>System>Advanced>Performance Settings>Use Drop Shadows for Icons on the Desktop (set to enabled).

It doesn't load right for me either. Filezilla keeps screwing up on me. Perhaps time to get a different ftp manager.

Stop using the Thoosje one lol. You can get the original Vista one for XP. The only reason I'm not using it is because I need to re-download it. Also, there is Vistart and Viorb if you want more of a Vista look.
