Making Custom Car Colors? MM1/MM2

Ive gotten the motivation to dive into the modding scene for midtown madness and wanted to start small, I cannot find any information on this process ANYWHERE. Can anyone whip up or link me to a guide on making paintjobs for cars in Midtown Madness 1 and 2? 1 preferably if the process is too different from MM2. Thank you guys so much!!! Appreciate yall, and glad to be a part of this community finally.

As far as I know, there's no written and detailed guide about how make new colors for the default game vehicles, neither for MM1 ones nor for the MM2 ones. I assume you're talking about the default vehicles. Overall, it's not an easy process, and you can easily "break" something in the default vehicles doing this kind of attempt. I guess that some steps of the process aren't so different for both the games, though, like the one of making the new colors textures.
