trouble with adding a profile photo

i was using master(fallout) death as my profile photo but it shows a x when i use off site avatar what should i do to fix it there is the photo https://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Mast ... mation.gif

That link can't never work used as profile image; this is the working one. Anyway, that image is 390x341 pixels, still bigger than the limit of 100x100 pixels...
