I've made a Dirt 3 map once but I had to use a low detailed LOD with blurry textures and no major objects. They are just too highpoly to work in MM2. BTW nice Peugeot :)

Very nice work with that Lamborghini. :wink: Would be cool if you convert that Pikes Peak car. :)

About the DIRT Rally game maps, maybe the high polygons issue thing is now solved due to the heap memory increasing discovery, but there's always the hard and long work to do for their converting, with foreseeable problems...

Ehm, the game must always work with a mod, even without a heap fix, at least as a single file.

There will be always a guy who doesn't use patches because it likes the original game with its original exe and CD, so take care about this and everyone.

Sorry, i don't like this patch, i feel it unofficial, it's because like the original exe.
Or maybe the name of the patch (Heap Patcher), the way how it sounds... That's why it makes me to don't like it, i dont know.

Meh I think now that this limitation was somehow surpassed, it's totally understandable people will come up with mods that simply won't work without this patch. Simply state it requires the patch to work, then. :P

It's not that you're asking for a paid patch, or minimum hardware requirements in order to work. It's kinda like GTA SA and Cleo - that trainer allows some unique content not possible to do otherwise. After all, if there was such "purists" around here, why would they use mods anyways? XD

Have fun kids! :D I'm upgrading to Windows 8, then soon 10, so my projects will be on a halt for a while. I could even get a separate Windows XP PC to run MM2 on.

I'm back to the conversions scene once again, this time things will be done a little differently this time; Welcome to the Damage Era. ;)

Let's kick things off with the first car, a very iconic vehicle of the Midtown Madness series: the Mustang GT! (NFS Prostreet)

Originally intended to be part of a big mod that HD'ed the crap out of the MM2 cars, I kinda gave up on the mod, so I'm releasing this as a separate addon since we've never seen a high-poly SN95 Mustang before. I'm also creating a better dashboard for this conversion.

Oh, yeah, there's damages too! There's also 2 breakable objects; the rear license plate and the aerial. I didn't call it the Damage Era for nothing you know! :P

I've also created a new shadow effect! It's a mix between an ambient shadow and a sun cast shadow. :D
