I just converted the file format and prepared it a bit to be made for MM2, you did the rest.Credit to Franch88 for converting the car to MM2 format.
Yes, The Sims 3 IMO is a good game but it gobbles performance, even on high-end PC's. I would only recomend it to people who have beefy gaming PC's.Looks good in-game. It's a pretty good model despite the game origin.

This kind of ripping is easy for most of the times when the steps go well. Not with all the games can be done.But ripping the cars is easy. I use a program called TSR Workshop to clone a car, then extract the meshes to wavefront format, then extract the multiplier and overlay textures.
