It's from CSR Racing.

I'm putting research into the performance and statistics of the car, not a lot I've found other than the horsepower and curb weight.

Yep, the headlights are a flat mesh with the detail textured over it.

It looks perfect in mm2's lighting conditions and your reflections.

Even the shadows under the side mirrors look nice ! Did you use photo editors and their 'shadows adjustment' feature for the AO baking ? Hope you do this for all your cars hereon. The first I ever noticed static 'AO baked' elements, would be in HP 2010 for the side scoops/air scoops/whatever they call it

and the shadowy bake on cop cars' roof, surrounding the lightbar, allowing us to assume its the lightbar's shadow

As far as I know, these 2 were the only ones that're static AO bakes and don't change real-time in HP 2010. Sorry for the bad pics. I lost the camhack files, so i had to pick from already snapped ones.

With these, I could say you've unlocked yourself 'Half' the potential of 'normal' mapping, without normal maps at all (in a static sense only).

But I fear they will look good only in bright colored paintjobs, ex: whites and silvers.

Same case for HP 2010. Whites and silvers looked too damn intense.

"Sounds from same game/TDU2" ? I didn't understand. Is it the Shift2 sounds mod for TDU2 that you've extracted using 'BNK editor' ?

The engine sounds are from Shift 2 and the horn is from TDU2.

That's cool. But did you use any photo editor for the AO bake shade on the GT2 or simple Photoshop tools did the job ? Nice S4, BTW

I use Blender to generate the AO, then I blurred it in Paint.NET to give it a smoother look. Unfortunately the process isn't perfect as some parts such as mirrors get messed up. But If all goes well and there are no faults in the AO then it would yield results such as...

Now the S4 has AO too!
