The textures problem is totally solved, how it looks like now:

I'm really happy how it's going, but looking good in the screenshots don't mean it's near to be complete. It miss lots of work and I think only in february it's finished.

The work for tomorrow: Make a few improvments on the textures, add the headlights, start doing the tune of the car.

Also, it already have 2 breakables: the both side mirrors are breakables.

More progress soon! (but absolutely not today, I'm really tired of it, for today I'm happy for the texture problem is solved) :)

That's a common thing with these FM3/4 models, can happen get a such problem with them, the first time. Just give priority to the procedure explained by Triple_X.
Good that's all solved now. Nice look in-game. :)

Hey guys, I have some bad news: I'm REALLY without time to work in MM2, in the next months. My Peugeot will only be realeased probably in july, and even with so much time I don't know... I have a giant book to read until the end of February for school, 4 or 5 exams in june and july that I need to study a lot, and my school marks until now are not really good (they are all positive, but could be better) so I really need to work better in school.

Also, I'm trying to make a "friendship" with a girl...

I hope you can understand me guys. I'll try to visit the forum always I can do and in my free time I'll try to make some updates to the car.

Pity. It's after the school time, practically. Alright, good luck with the exams and for the love story.

Hello, during this time, when I had some free time I continued working on this car. So now I have the folowing updates: removed breakable parts (they look matte in game and once it was the side mirrors they look better glossy); new driver inside; working tail lights and headlights; small fixes on the 3D body. Some things are still missing to do in the 3D model but it's going nicely.

BTW please tell me what do you think about the tail lights, I'm not sure about them:

Very good progress. The taillights look great from this screenshot, just make sure to make as TLIGHT and BLIGHT the correct car red lights.

I made a single object as rear lights, called TLIGHT_L. So they work as stop light and also glow in the night. Is it ok like that?

If you don't want the tail lights to glow brighter when brakes are applied, keep it like that. Because the BLIGHT object is to make the tail lights look brighter when brakes are applied or in some cars, make an additional red light glow. (like in the default Mustang GT).
Tail lights looks realistic and would be better if you add the BLIGHT object.

I'll make some improvments to the tailights later, this afternoon I worked a lot to create the dashboard :)

Beta stage:

Image

2 things that I really have to improve:

-> The dash don't allow to see the road, it's to high. Is there any way to make it lower to the road?

-> I don't know why the steering have a white stripe arround it, it doesn't exist on the texture.

Well, if anyone knows how to solve my first question, I'll be thankfull ;)

PS: That "N" on the LCD of the steering is not related with the gears, it's a part of the texture itself.

The dashboard looks very good, and seems to have been kinda hard get a good viewing.
You can lowed the entire dashboard through the apposite Y value in MM2 Dashboard Placer program, but there will always be the problem of the too little windshield. The little white border around the steering wheel it's present because of how you've cut out it when you've made the texture; it can be removed with some manual work and copying the alpha channel (it's a bit hard to explain). Would be better remove that N letter.

Depends by how's in the real car's lights working pattern. It could even be figured out from the texture's look. Maybe the central light hasn't to be on, or at least, it could be used for the BLIGHT object.

Thanks for the advices Franch, I'll try that :)

About the central lights, they are on, at least on this video I used has reference:

I made them as TLIGHT because they are also like that on my Interceptor and they work good on it. Dunno I'll try to make them in different ways to see how it look better.

Very good have seen this from an in-game video of Forza Motorsport 3. When's so, you can make the central light to work like if it's a third stop light. Just separate the polygons of it from the rest of the lights in the TLIGHT object, and call the new split object BLIGHT.
