That's right, I wanted to make a break for a bit in MM2 HD so I decided to convert 2006 Ford GT from Forza 3. And it's finished tomorrow!

How so fast? Because Aaro4130 gave me a giant help with this mod, and it became a cooperative work between me and him that the final result is, in my opinion, the best car I ever played in Midtown Madness 2.

This car has great realistic sounds, awsome realistic tuning, 16:9 high resolution dashboard, 10 colours (7 official, 1 Gulf/ Heritage inspired, 2 custom) and that some colours change the colour of the rims and the brake pads, and Aaron's 2 light improvments: tail lights reflection in the ground at night, and multiple headlight focuses with custom size and place.

My part of the work: Convertion of the car to MM2, 9 of 10 colours and custom textures for the brakepads and rims.

Aaron's part of the work: 1 paintjob (Gulf/ Heritage inspired one), sounds, tuning and 16:9 high resolution dashboard, permission to use his lights improvments, and a lot of motivation to make me do my part of the work fast xD.

So, the screenshots? here they go!

Again, this convertion is not only mine, in fact most of the work was made by Aaron.

Nice work, both of you. But even though the headlight objects exist, the headlights still look as if they're off. I mean shouldn't there be some texture to make this area marked in red lighter?

Looks nice! But yes, headlights look a bit like they're turned off. Maybe increase size of the HEADLIGHT objects?

Thank you all for your replies!

Yes, thank you for your advice, just did that. BTW, the HEADLIGHT objects dont exist, the front lights are connected to the taillights and are a night texture. This allows to make more than just 2 light sposts (the car has 4) and be able to make them inclined, and not just vertical light the HEADLIGHTobejcts only allow to.

PS: The headlights of 2006 Ford GT have 2 lights on heach headlight :a white one and a yellow one. The white one has in real life not really much power, so the car (not in the screenshot, but now after my fix) look like the real stuff:

Here it goes, fixed headlights:

Also, I created a licence plate for this car. I really like it, because is based on the one that Ford GT uses in Ford Racing 2 and 3. All paintjobs use it except Gulf/ Heritage based paintjob and the custom colours:

It's a breakable, of course.

Amazing converting work for both. :) Good choice for the headlights, they fit better to the shape.

Wonder why people say sick when they mean great... :?

And it's finished tomorrow!
LOL I was so wrong :P

Hey guys, so this is the Ford GT me and Aaron started converting, but I got bored of it and didn't had any progress for some time. Well, this weekend don't know why I wanted to play some Midtown Madness 2, I even removed most of the mod cars I had in my directory and downloaded some new ones and stuff... SO, today I continued working on the Ford GT and added it some fancy new stuff, like flashing lights (work when you put the reverse gear), some lights at the tail that light at night, and a few updates and fixes. I liked it so much I recorded a little video of it at a track I really like, Robada Pass (while demonstrating my driving habilities to don't crash in anything xD). Hope you enjoy guys; about the music the idea was a back music but it got so loud it covered the engine sound. Some of the textures are 8 bit tex. files made using Aaron's plugin for Paint.NET.
