We are very very close to overall completion now! I have finally fixed all of the colors and finalized little details here and there, whether it be something I wasn't satisfied with, or damage textures that looked like crap. Here is a preview of ALL the colors:

[note2: Due to a 100 character limit for the paint job names (including the dividers!), the names listed above are no longer accurate. The proper names are:

Crazy Plum
Blazin' Blue
Yellow
Radical Red
Sour Green
White
Black
Mango Orange
Flames
Sunset Yellow
]

Ever since I refined the side texture, it's made my life so much easier! I can make hard top textures now and even have make the convertible look like it has definition!

UPDATE:

All hard top textures are done. When the final project is released, there will be an AR included that overwrites the standard convertible textures with hard top textures.

Example of how the files will look:

Car model and textures look just great, awesome work. :) Looking for the release now.
For the files naming, is enough only one "!" symbol for the main car file and two "!" symbols for the hardtop paintjobs patch file, the result got is always the same. Better put order in this thing.

Does MM2 not like 512 X 160? 160 is 8 * 20...doesn't it just have to be divisible by 8? Or is it something more like 128, 256, etc...

I'm assuming so since it's corrupting the bottom half of my side texture as if the UV mapping was off, but I have no time to explain/show pics, gotta go to bed. Hoping someone can confirm this in the morning.

Only one color is included with this release, a detailed readme is supplied with the download to give you an idea of what's going on. Don't want to open the readme for some reason? Here, I'll paste it here:

This is the second public beta release of Project GTX. New in this version is brand new damage textures, an improved convertible top texture, and showcases/unlocks to show this is a BETA version. EVERYTHING seen in this release is subject to change. There will be no further 3D model enhancements, all that's left is tuning, cameras, damage smoke placement, and any other various tweaks. I am willing to allow anyone experienced to take a shot at tuning/camera tweaks/anything to try and make this one of the best MM2 releases ever. There is only one color in this version: Blazin' Blue. I have to re-export all of the other colors and convert them to .TEX files. This is all that's left in regards to textures and the 3d modeling part. I hope you all enjoy this release and look forward to the final release soon! Along with the final release, I will be releasing a "contrib" folder along with it, meaning you can skin your own paintjobs for the car and insert it into the game no problem. I have written a somewhat detailed description on how to do it, which will be finalized in the release. A big thanks to anyone who has helped me get this far! Regarding The Beast: I will be working on that once the GTX is finished. It is basically a souped up version of the GTx that will be featuring new engine sounds, tuning, and maybe new paintjobs.
