Test Drive: Overdrive Expansion pack for MM2

Postby RacingFreak » Thu Nov 04, 2010 4:13 pm

Well, since I did at least probes at loading properly models, I think I get them right now. I`m now setting each capture, on exactly same settings as previous, so that I`ll be sure there will be nothing bad.

When I get them as they must be, surely I will show something and add them as model rips

EDIT:
Release postponed.

Very nice model and car, good work with it. :) I don't really know the game Test Drive Overdrive, worth a try.

Yep. At least, it`s very nice game, even not that much buggy and failure as TD6 (TD5 was cool..) and a bit similar to NFS: HP2 (same release date), except it does have 4 cities, acceptable in a partial free-roam, too (when playing as cop). Has also drag races, underground mode and very nice and realistic 3D engine from Atari (Infogrames) as I never saw reflections like these on a game from 2002 or older. The newest improvement were at least the car models, as they are really professional done and detailed.

Well, I`d decided not to add transparent windows and driver to the first release. It seems to be impossible to rip the cars as being frozen during the gameplay, so I`m ripping them directly from the car selection menu and it`s ok.

The whole Monte Carlo Police Department:

I think they will be good as police cars for both London and SF.
I`ll see if packing them altogether and putting as model rips, will be possible for me today.

Nice models, bad for the ripping issue that doesn't give the interiors, but indeed they're good as cop mods for SF and London. Possibly, would be right make the respective cities police liveries.

Thanks. At least they do have interiors, and I now have and driver exported (experimented a bit), so they will be complete. Also the textures are done in that way, that modifying them can be done easily with Photoshop :)

I`m in proud at presenting an test release of Ford Mustang. The car is almost completed, except I didn`t put the sounds and such on. Has also driver and interior.

In particular it became pretty easy, because using the calculated FOV settings, let me have it as it must be, instead of resizing, scaling, etc.

The final release will have also all the available paintjobs from TD.

Very nice look in-game for these models, and great Mustang. :)
