It's nice to see you interested with the low polygons cars modeling, but looking at the polygons placement, I'd say that's not a good start... :| You can find lot of examples to see how the best ways to place the polygons. Keep training.

Thanks everyone! :D

Okay, here's the improved mesh placement for my Crown Vic. So far I got the front and the top and the back windscreen done, now I must start the back and the bottom (Not an easy task, but hey ;) ).

Also, I got bored, so I converted something hehe:

The model is looking good, now the polygons placement is more convincing. :) But, you could still split the side windows part to have some more polygons like is with the doors zone.
Nice conversion too. :)

Thanks y'all, for the lovely comments! :D

I could do it, but that'll require me more time and more learning, which (as indicated) would take months, so i'll just leave it as-is. ;)

While I am still working on the scratch-built Crown Vic, i'll treat you to four more MM1 cars converted to MM2! :D

NOTE: This particular car did not work in MM1 (it crashed MM1), so I thought i'd convert this to MM2 just to drive it. ;)

Great cars :D Some of them have some normals problems that need to be fixed. By the way does the MM1 dashboard need some fixing/position editing after converting to MM2?

Thanks for the comments mm2mm1fan and sajmon14! :D

Unfortunately, BMS 2 PKG tends to muck the normals up, and I am not too good at fixing them. As for your second question, actually, I used the dash textures itself (along with the dash steering wheel textures), assembled them using Paint.NET, and enlarged the image carefully so that it will fit when I use Maxoff's MM2 Dashboard Placer, and from there I fix and position them, using the screenshots I took of the original car's dashboard as a reference to position them properly. Although the image may be blurry, but hopefully you can still make them out. ;)

Great cars! It's really cool to see these nice MM1 cars now on MM2. Also, by knowing your previous works I expect them to be great quality, usually these kind of conversions always use recycled stuff from the default cars.

About the normals, try to split the model into different parts with the polys facing about the same direction (like separating front, back, sides and top) and normalizing each part separately. If you download Blender, convert the car models into .obj and importing them there, you can do that more easily and usually with better results.

Very nice conversions and dashboards adaption, you got a good idea.
Yeah, there are some normal problems, maybe pretty difficult to fix, but the case shown in the rear part of the 1985 Buick Regal, on the second screenshot, looks more to be the one of not connected vertices.

Yeah, me too . :) In fact, i've been wanting to drive 'em in MM2 for a long time and now with the available tools to make MM1 to MM2 car conversion possible, I can now finally live the dream!

Anyways, some more MM1 to MM2 car converts:

NOTE: There are no damage textures for this car. Since I made the SFPD skin for this car, i'm not too good at making damage textures. Also, this car uses the same dashboard as the civilian version of the 91 Taurus. ;)

I'm about to release these (and the ones stated hereafter) MM1 to MM2 coversions soon, so look out for these. I might upload it to MediaFire. ;)
