I modeled my Blazer in 3DS Max, exported it as a .3ds file, and then imported it to ZM. I think it's friggin duplicating the vertices...

I'll take a look at it. ;) I found problems:
1. you have NO tune files.
2. your using the basename of the large traffic suv.

Here's a better way to export any 3D mesh from 3DS Max, to ZModeler.

Export your model as OBJ, then from the latest ZModeler 2 version, import it and finally export it as an old Z3D.

Open or merge it to ZModeler 1.

Another way is possible, by using the GTA script made by Krom, you're able to export any 3D mesh (but one by one only, not many objects together) as a DFF (for GTA3/VC). So, you don't need to use ZM2. ZM1 can import this DFF directly.

The first solution keep the UV mapping right and sometimes the normals (depends the modeling technique and complexity) whereas the second one keep all, fine.

I was trying to replace the Large SUV with my K5 Blazer, this is not a player car mod, this is a TRAFFIC car mod.

I just based my k5 blazer off of tonius' traffic mod, and i'm still getting this "FindHeap" error...what the heck does that mean? My texture is 256 X 256...

I am soooo pissed off right now. I found out it had nothing to do with my mod - IT WAS THE GOD DAMN AMERICAN LAFRANCE FIRE TRUCK! I created a new profile, started off with the beetle, and then clicked on the fire truck and there you go! OMG I'm so pissed. Turns out my mod works, I just need to fix the wheels and signals. But oh well, I feel like a dumbass now.

Now I've checked it in-game and as try works, nice attempt. Good work with the rest, the topic will be moved or splitted when the project will continue.
Probably the problem that you had was the one with the last car and its last colors, kinda normal if you play an add-on car using its 9th or 10th color and then you remove it; the game default American LaFrance Firetuck has only 4 colors. To fix it is just needed place as last of the vehicles list an add-on car with at least 10 colors, to be sure.

Hadn't you got the file posted above? It had been made as traffic replacing car mod, hadn't you noticed this? Try it in-game, so you can take all the screenshots that you want.
