[W.I.P] 1997 Dodge Copperhead (HALTED FOR NOW)

Postby CarLuver69 » Wed Aug 19, 2009 7:59 am

It would be my first car, but I can't find any good pictures of it! Most pictures I find are the front of the car, but never the back of it! Do you guys think that it's possible? I really want to make an MM2 car before the community dies :(

If I did, however, make a rough draft of it, would it be popular?

I would suggest to you first to learn how to convert a car as how to model a car as you want. It's much more difficult than to convert one. And I don't think the community will die, we'll keep it alive as well as we can.

I have experience (but not alot) in 3ds Max, so this shouldn't be too hard for me. I also figured out how to use ZM, so yeah, i'm confident that I will be able to make a car. :)

This is a tiny picture... But it's better then nothing: https://www.hennyhemmes.com/img/copperhead.gif

Here's an interesting side view... https://www.hennyhemmes.com/img/copperhead.gif Looks like it's a toy :P

...which reminds me, I think I have a small toy version of it :o I'll take a look and if I find it I'll post some pics :P
I like girls kind of like chicken wings; hot, tender and half-price on Tuesday.

Wow, thanks for those pictures! I will be gathering up some pictures soon.

OK, I have found plenty of pictures to begin modeling. I will hopefully have this out in a few months, this will be a thread of my progress.

I will be working without blueprints, but to show you that I am perfectly capable of this, here is a picture of what i've done by looking at an object/picture -

Good start. Following Salims tut, nope? If your not, you should check it, very informative. You need a top and front / back view, it would help, but if you can't it would be pretty hard.. Do a little searches. :) Good luck. ^^

I seem to have run into a roadblock. I need to boot up 3DS Max and do the most of it, because it's too hard to learn how to make smooth curves in Zanoza. Atleast its much much easier to make 3d stuff in 3ds max, which is what I learned off of. Wish me luck!
