You have no clue what to do next, do you? Never EVER start with the windows.

TIP: Pretend youre making a low-poly model for traffic. See the wireframes of my traffic cars and use them as an example to help you with the Nissan Cube.

The polygons placement is very bad, and you haven't to start to model those parts for first; how can you continue to model a car starting in this way? You have to start with the car body and you need pictures of all the sides of the car, so find a blueprint of that car.
Follow the Silent1Unknown's modeling tutorial to make a good 3D car model; better start with something low polygons.

Well its a Cube, Sounds easy.. :P But both sides of the car are different.. I'll look at them, because the interior of the car is hard too.. :?

Edit: Is the new bumper nice? :D

Low poly? It has 75 Faces...... :lau: If I change it to around 16, will I have enough verts / polys to work with??

Looks like I could make the bumper with 12. :P

I suggest you stop modeling until you get a better idea of what to do. But you can get a better idea of what to do, by playing my game here.

Now is better about the polygons placement, but you're using too much polygons for that little part. I don't know if you want to model this car as a medium polygons model, but you haven't to make parts with many polygons and others with less of them. Better start with a low polygons model looking to the Silent1Unknown's tutorial and to his low polygons models.

Your problem is simple IMO, you don't know what to do because you never started to extrude vertices. Try to do it with another car or a basic object to understand how works a 3D mesh. Don't forget to read tutorials and you can check the polyplacement from other models that you converted.

I ditched the Cube since it had no good bps. And I was using images from NCS. :lau: I started the 2004 Lancia Ypsilon. I saw Franch said he wanted someone to model it on a old topic, and I also like this car, and found very nice blueprints with all views, and I started, its going very well, Salim is helping me with the polys, etc. I hope I get more done soon. I'll show some pictures later with progress. :D

Salim recently released the part 2 of his modeling tutorial. Use it to guide you.

Also, the Cube was supposed to be an easy car, even for one without blueprints since it has few curves (only around the edges). :? If you had trouble with it, I sure hope the Ypsilon has sharp edges. :P
