I will try the glowing technique, if that works, I can assing the scanner to the body_h object and it will be lit up all the time in day-time as well :)
because now, at day time it is only lit when you brake.

I have also put a driver in, only the problem is that you can't see it through the windows :( how do you solve this problem?

I got the driver problem nearly sorted out, I detach the whole body by detaching it by matertials, then I unite select everything exept the windows, but then my windows turn non-transparent :( how can I make them transparent again? or what am I doing wrong? (again :lol: )

Try to un-do it (CTRL + Z) Go to the materials, look for a black material, make sure its on glow, put the little slide on how transparent you want it. Hide the detached obj, and see if it fixes it.

you mean the opacity slide?
I have un done the unite-select and if all the seperate parts of the body are on, the windows are good, and you can see the driver.
But when I unite-select all the peaces again, the driver magicly dissapears again. It is a nice magical tric, but not what I want :(

Make sure that the object with the semi-transparent material assinged is at the bottom of all the objects that will be united as BODY object. If the windows texture has turned opaque, check if it has the right material used, and use a semi-transparent .tga texture instead to make the material semi-transparent without assing any texture.

Finally I got the thing working :) I will post some in game pics with the glow effect scanner and the driver in the car tomorrow.

I've made some last improvements on KITT, I've done the shadow, put a driver in it, fine tweaked the tuning and done the glow effect in combination with animation :)

I only think that I will lower the top speed to 180 mph and only give the KITT in atack mode a top speed of 220 mph, but I want your opinions about which top speed I should give the cars

i think that the normal kitt should have a slighty higher top speed as i am sure in an episode kitt hit 337 in normal mode as for attack mode skys the limit maybe normal kitt top out at 250 attack at 330

Man, that looks nice! The glowing effect really works well on that car. :D I have no opinion the top speed, as I have never seen the show. Good luck on this very nice car pack! :wink:

Very nice work on this car, the red glows works well. :wink: I'm ok with your idea about the top speed of this car, making more fast only the version in attack mode.
