Project Epic Drift0rz - CANCELLED

You have probably noticed all the screens submitted by Az and I in the SS gallery about "Project Epic Drift0rz" (PED). PED is a project Az, Matt, Vapour, and I have started. It is a total overhaul of the game giving it a Drifting Theme.

The PED Engine is going to be based off of Az's MM2L. Some features we are adding is: Replacing Defaults with new drift cars,

Adding New Menus,

And replacing London with a drifting track, and placing drifting objects in SF. (Screens Coming Soon)

This project will be Massive. No Exact planned beta or final version release yet, but estimated finish date will be some time in late 2009 to 2010.

This thread will be updated almost daily with our work towards this mod.

Team Members
Azbestos8, Me, Az I will be responsible for converting models and creating or converting textures.
KyleJ86, Kyle, Ky Ky will be responsible for maps, converting about half of the models, and tuning.
Vapour, Steven, Ste Ste's role is dashboards, he may do some models too. But he's mainly a prostitute.
Matt1314, Matt, Mt Mt is our sound guy because we all EPICLY suck at sounds.

My Projects
Here's a list of what I personally have planned for this mod. This list is subject to change as project progresses.

Ford Fiesta - 90%
Ford Focus '06 - 70%
Citroen C2 - 40%
Subaru Impreza '01- 30%
Citroen Xsara - 25%

Peugeot 106 - 0%
Ford Escort - 0%
Mitsubishi Lancer - 0%

These are all WRC cars, expect a full set of paintjobs and exciting tuning. I'm also doing the menus as you may well know.

I still plan to convert more; I just have not thought as far ahead as Az

This is a great amazing project, very nice work.

The new menu is very nice, and the planned cars list to replace the in-game ones is very interesting. Keep it up.

If I'm allowed to make any suggestions, on the main menu screen could you change the font of the title "Epic Driftorz" to something more masculine and italicized just like all the drift-racing titles from games and movies?

Haha. Very good point. I wanted to go for something like NFSMW kinda look, but it ended up PINK. You make a good point. Maybe I'll rework it, that menu was easy, but tediously boring, you have to make 4 copies of each button (enabled, disabled, etc).

Thank you for your suggestion/view. I highly appeciate any feedback we can get.

Edit: Could you just post some shots to clarify, I have a hard time thinking of ideas.

It doesnt have to be anything specific. Something big, thick and italicized will do. Here are some examples I found:

Good bye pink, hello brown!
Would you class this as an impovement?

orange is the highlight colour, I think that yellow should match the other colours, I'm still kinda playing with it. Opinions?

GREAT IMPROVEMENT!!! Looks way better. Love the new background. Cant decide between the two fonts. Both work well. Good work!
